How Our Workshops Work
A structured approach that builds skills and confidence over time.
Breathing & Centering
We start every session with 5-10 minutes of breathing work. You’ll learn three different techniques and practice which one works best for you. Most people notice a difference after the first session.
Posture & Presence
You’ll work on how you stand, where your hands go, and how that affects your confidence. We break this into simple, specific drills. It’s not about being stiff or formal — it’s about feeling grounded.
Voice Work
Vocal projection, pacing, and pauses. You’ll learn why pauses actually work (they give your message weight) and practice speaking at a pace that feels natural but lands clearly.
Short Structured Talks
You’ll give short 2-3 minute talks in front of the group. Structured so you’re not trying to memorize or wing it. Real practice in a safe environment with feedback that actually helps.
Finding Your Style
By the end, you’ll know what authentic presence looks like for you. Not someone else’s style. Yours. That’s when speaking becomes something you can actually do, not something you’re terrified of.
What We Believe About Public Speaking
Anxiety Is Normal
Everyone gets nervous. The goal isn’t to eliminate anxiety — it’s to manage it so it doesn’t control you. Once you understand that, everything changes.
Small Groups Work Better
You need enough people for real practice, but small enough that you’re not just a face in the crowd. That’s where real learning happens.
Your Voice Matters
We’re not teaching you to be someone else. We’re teaching you to be a clearer, more confident version of yourself. Your authentic style is actually your biggest asset.
Skills Build Over Time
You won’t master this in one session. But you’ll notice real changes within a few weeks. Breathing techniques work. Posture matters. Voice control is learnable.

Real answers to help you understand what to expect.
Will this actually help if I get really anxious?
Yes. The breathing techniques work because they actually calm your nervous system — it’s not a mental trick. Combined with practice in a supportive group, you’ll feel noticeably different within 3-4 sessions. That said, this is a practical skill-building workshop, not therapy. If you’re dealing with severe anxiety disorder, we’d recommend working with both a coach and a mental health professional.
Do I have to memorize my talk?
No. We teach you to use structured formats (like the 3-point talk or story-based structure) so you know what you’re saying without having to memorize word-for-word. That actually feels more natural and authentic when you deliver it.
What if I’m a complete beginner?
That’s who we work with most. We don’t assume you’ve spoken publicly before. We start with the basics — breathing, posture, voice — and build from there. You’ll be giving short talks by session two or three.
How small are the groups really?
6-8 people maximum. We keep them small so everyone gets individual feedback and enough practice time. Too big and it becomes a lecture. Too small and you’re not getting real practice variety.
Can I join mid-program?
Yes. Each session covers core techniques, so you won’t be lost if you join partway through. That said, starting from the beginning gives you the strongest foundation. Just ask us about what fits your schedule.
Where are workshops held?
We run workshops across Ireland in dedicated training spaces. Get in touch and we’ll tell you about current locations and schedules near you.
Ready to Build Real Speaking Confidence?
You don’t have to feel nervous forever. The techniques work. The practice works. And a supportive group makes all the difference.
